B.o.B. (who has the #1 album in America heyoooo) opened for Lupe and was pretty good himself. He's GOOFY.

Lupe was the highlight, of course. Watching this vid gives me chills because I keep thinking about the chills I had all through the show last night. SO glad I decided not to be old balls and actually went *on a Tuesday* (I know!)

His performance of "Go Go Gadget Flow" and "Daydream" were the two best. Loved.

I got into David Guetta when I studied abroad in Spain - "Love Don't Let Me Go" was my favorite song at the time and I always wondered why [good] House music like Guetta's wasn't all that popular back in the ol' US of A. Then, last year in 2009, "Sexy Chick" by Akon feat. David Guetta came out and I knew this guy was about to burst onto the scene in America. He's coming to SF this month and I'm also seeing him down at Coachella in Palm Springs weekend-after-next. Can't wait.

...Not all house music is good, though. And there's definitely a stereotype about people who dig it. People often ask me if I like it, and if I say yes, they groan and, in all liklihood, assume that MDMA has often got me feelin' like a champion. Truth is, I can't handle some of it, but I definitely don't brush it off altogether, because about 1/4 of it is really, really good.
